ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan reached Supreme Court to hear the Panamagate case, wherein he was one of the petitioners.
The Supreme Court is scheduled to declare its verdict in Panamagate case, which it reserved on February 23 after 126-day long hearing, today at 2:00pm.
PTI chief Imran Khan, Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Sirajul Haq and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed were main petitioners who have pleaded the court to declare Prime Minister Nawaz Shairf disqualified to hold the office of Prime Minister after names of his family members including children featured in the infamous Panama Papers leaks.
JI chief Sirajul Haq, AML chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed besides central leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have also reached the apex court to hear the verdict which is presumed to be a landmark and would impact the future’s politics of the country.
All the parties in the case have announced that they would accept whatever decision the apex court will give.
