Web Desk (July 28, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to clear sports sector from political employments.
According to sources, after the decision of provincial Governors, PTI has now set its target on Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF).
PTI is also considering to replace PCBs chairman Najam Sethi, reasoning his recruitment by Nawaz Sharif on political grounds.
On the other hand, PHFs President Khalid Sajjad Khokhar would also be removed from his post. According to sources, he was appointed due to him being the relative of a prominent N-league member.
Imran Khan, who triumphed in general elections, pledged to end the practice of nepotism, favoritism misuse of power in a wide-ranging address to the nation.
