PTI demands reopning of Hudaibia Paper Mills case

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) while declaring the money trail showed by Prime Minister Nawaz Shairf in Panamagate case as fraud demanded of reopening Hudaibia Paper Mills case.

The PTI also hinted at filing reference against Shahbaz Shairf in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) over Hudaibia Mills case.

Talking to media outside Supreme Court, PTI spokesman Fawad Chaudhry said that there was no evidence on record of selling the Duabi Mill by Sharif family 12 million Dirham. He claimed that the money trail showed by Nawaz Sharif was a fraud.

The PTI leader alleged that Rs810 million were laundered from the country through Hundi, saying that Sharif family must be accounted for the Rs810 million.

Chaudhry, who is also part of PTI’s legal team representing it in Panamagate case, said that as per documents Maryum Nawaz was sole beneficiary of Munrwa Co and she had also taken Rs 680 million in gift.

He claimed that the the laundered money was brought  back to the country in the garb of gift.

Speaking on the occasion, PTI Information Secretary Naeemul Haq said that Panamagate was basically a political case. He added that the case had great significance.

He added that Nawaz Shairf had lost constitutional authority to continue as anymore as Prime Minister.

Haq said that it would be decided by the court whether the Prime Minister should be summoned or not. He added that the Prime Minister’s daughter had already submitted her response and they (PTI) wanted the PM and his wife should also submit their replies.

He said that Panama case was just a part of PTI’s struggle against corruption and with ending of the case, the PTI struggle against graft will not end.
