Lahore: The disgruntled members of provincial assembly belonging to ruling Pakistan Tehreeke-Insaf (PTI) have threatened to resign from the assembly and not to participate in the senate elections.
The disgruntled member Khwaja Dawood Sulemani said that our demands are not met adding that we will not participate in the upcoming Senate elections.
He said that Chief Minister Punjab didn’t fulfill the promises adding that the CM is calling on the opposition members but he is not heeding to problems of their members.
Khawaja Dawood Sulemani threatened that they will not vote to any body in the senate elections if our demands were not fulfilled then whole of the group will resign from Punjab Assembly.
He said that we will set our next strategy after calling a meeting soon.
It is pertinent to mention here that Khawaja Dawood Sulemani is member of Punjab Assembly from PP- 285.
