PTI failed to submit evidence in SC: PML-N leaders

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Leader MNA Danyal Aziz has said that PTI chief Imran Khan instead of submitting proofs in the Supreme Court was creating anarchy in the country.

Addressing a press conference along with State Minister for Privatization Muhammad Zubair, Aziz said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children had submitted their replies in the Supreme Court in Panama leaks case.

On next date of hearing, documentary evidence regarding the PM’s children properties would also be submitted in the court, he added.

He asked the PTI leaders to explain their position for concealing their offshore companies and assets. He said that those telling lies to the masses should be ashamed.

The PML-N leader said that the story against Maryum Nawaz was planted and the video showed in PTI public meeting was doctored.

Aziz said ICJ itself admitted that the name of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was not in the Panama Papers’ leak. He said that Maryum Nawaz was not dependent of Prime Minister, but PTI was definitely dependent of Jahangir Tarin.

He said that those standing alongside Imran Khan had also owned offshore companies.

The PML-N leaders said that lawyers of PTI had failed to submit even a single documentary evidence in the apex court.

Muhammad Zubair said that as the case was in the Supreme Court, the politics of allegations should come to an end.

He said PTI Chairman and his cronies waved documents in public meetings and tv channels and repeated allegations but now their lawyers have declined to present any evidence.
