Lahore (July 15, 2017): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday filed reference in Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking his disqualification.
Talking to media after filing reference in LHC, PTI leader Baber Awan said that in Panama case declaration was given against two ‘Godfathers’.
He added that the sun of change will dawn in Pakistan on Monday.
Regarding the reference filed against Chief Minister Punjab, Baber Awan said that the reference was not based on newspapers clippings, rather there was declaration against him in the JIT report.
He added that there were two declarations in the JIT against the ‘Godfathers’. “The second declaration is against the ‘Godfather No 2’ who is Punjab Chief Minister,” he added.
He added that there were small and big ‘Godfathers’ among the accused in Panama Leaks.’
The PTI leaders said that in Panama case the whole Pakistan was complainant.
Awan said that today would prove the day of Shahbaz Sharif’s disqualification. He added that the the declaration in JIT was enough for securing disqualification verdict from the court.
