ISLAMABAD: Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhary on Tuesday said that government has fulfilled the promise of laying the strong foundation of the accountability process in the country.
Talking to the media persons in Islamabad on Tuesday, Fawad said that financial resources of Sindh were abused through fake bank accounts, which were linked with the PPP co-chairman.
Fawad Chaudhary rejected the reports of political victimization behind the arrest of PML-N and PPP leaders.
“Asif Ali Zardari, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz have been arrested on the orders of the independent judiciary,” he added.
The Federal Minister said Imran Khan led government has only provided an enabling environment to the institutions to hold the corrupt elements accountable.
