PTI Govt Has No Development Programme, Alleges Khursheed Shah

SUKKUR: Senior Leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Khursheed Shah on Sunday said that the federal government possessed not a single development program for the nationals.

While addressing reporters, Khursheed Shah mocked Prime Minister Imran Khan’s announcement for provision of 5 million houses. He said the nationals took PM’s statement wrong as Imran Khan announced to demolish 5 million houses but not to construct it.

Shah clarified that ministers cannot attend National Assembly’s proceedings if the opposition leader stopped to enter into Parliament. He said that the current political scenario was ‘not good’ at all and also complained misbehaviour of the ministers belonging to ruling party showed against opposition.

Khursheed Shah said that “Imran Khan is still playing cricket as he don’t know politics. He is not ready to leave his container till now. Tehreek-e-Insaf is moving in opposite direction which they promised before the general elections.

The PPP leader said, ‘Imran Khan had prioritised to commit suicide instead of acquiring loan. But now, celebrations being made after acquiring loans despite [the fact] the money cannot be spent and given only to maintain reserves.”

Commenting over PM’s residence’s, Sha said, “We are not against regularisation of Bani Gala and it was regularised just because the Prime Minister was living there. [On the other hand] PM’s residence is being secured while houses of common man are being demolished.”

Shah also responded the Finance Minister’s comment for ‘purchasing next elections’, saying that Asad Umar has directly put allegations on Army Chief and the military head should take notice of the statement if Umar’s stance was true.
