ISLAMABAD: Police on Friday booked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders and workers in cases registered in different police stations of the capital for holding youth convention despite a ban under Section 144.
Police sources said that PTI leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Omer and other leaders and workers were booked for violating Section 144. The FIRs have been registered on the charges of violating Section 144 and interfering in official functions.
It is to be mentioned here that yesterday Police stormed a PTI Youth Wing function and arrested PTI workers including women activists.
