Web Desk(July 15, 2018): Election campaign is touching its peak across the country, political parties will flex their mussels today to gain the attraction of public for upcoming polls.
PTI will hold public gatherings in Sialkot and Jhang today, while MMA will hold a public gathering in Karachi.
Arrangements for the PTI gathering in Sialkot have been finalized, Imran Khan will address the crowd at Jinnah Stadium today.24 Feet tall and 80 feet long stage has been set up, while security arrangements have also been made.
PTI will also hold a public gathering in Sports Complex of Jhang today later in the day.
15000 chairs have been set up in the Jalsagah, while security and traffic plans have also been chalked out.On the other hand alliance of religious party, Muthaida Majlis-e-Amal(MMA) will also hold a public gathering today in Karachi’s Jinnah Bagh.
Jinnah Bagh has been decorated with the party flags and banners.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Senator Sirajul Haq, Shah Owais Noorani, Professor Sajid Mir and others will address the gathering.
Can’t Sit At Home, Will Hold Rallies Despite Blasts: Imran
The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Imran Khan claimed he was told to postpone election rallies due to security threats, however, he refused to accept the suggestion.
“Do I sit home if there is a threat to my life, I Can’t do this,” he said while addressing an election rally in Swabi on Saturday.
Cricketer turned politician said that the recent surge in terrorism is aimed at delaying the forthcoming polls.
“The conspiracy to conduct terror in Pakistan is planned abroad and facilitated from the people within the country,” he added. “The foreign forces want to delay polls.
The PTI chief said that corruption is family business of the Sharif family.
The rulers have put the loans of the country from six thousands billion rupees to 27 thousands billion rupees in last 10 year only due to ineligibility and corruption,” PTI chairman said.He asked the people without uprising against corruption country has no future, therefore people have the opportunity to kick them out the former rulers to save the country.
Imran said that former prime minister Nawaz returned as he was assured by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shehbaz Sharif that millions will be on roads to welcome him. “Only four to five thousand were there to welcome Nawaz,” he said. “Shehbaz has tricked him, the road is clear for him with Nawaz in Adiala Jail.”
The PTI chief said that Shehbaz will soon join Nawaz in Adiala after the reopening of corruption references.
