LAHORE: Following the change of finance minister in the centre, the PTI government is now looking to bring change in Punjab as Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister Akram Chaudhry resigned from his post.
Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar’s adviser Akram Chaudhry was requested to tender resignation from his post after the number count for CM’s adviser had reached its constitutional limit.
Sources said that following Akram Chaudhry’s resignation, the government is appointing Dr Salman Shah.
Akram Chaudhry has been offered Chairmanship of Punjab Food Authority.
Sources further said that the provincial government was facing difficulties in revenue recovery and budget.
