ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has nominated Federal Minister for Railways Shiekh Rasheed Ahmed as a member of Public Accounts Committee.
The ruling party, PTI, has sent the Federal Minister Shiekh Rasheed name to Speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaisar.
It is pertinent to mention here that Shiekh Rasheed, chief of Awami Muslim League (AWL) is the key allied party of the government.
The Railway minister has requested Prime Minister Imran Khan to include him in the PAC.
Earlier in the day, the President Pakistan Muslim League and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shahbaz Sharif had announced Khawaja Saad Rafique name for the PAC member in place of former speaker Ayaz Saddiq.
Sources said that Shehbaz Sharif can issue the production orders of the Saad Rafique after his inclusion in PAC.
