PTI Rally: Kirmani Questions Imran’s Expected Participation

Islamabad (Sep 8, 2017): Special Assistant to Prime Minister Asif Kirmani on Friday said questioned Election Commission of Pakistan as under which law PTI chief was going to address public meeting in Lahore’s NA-120 constituency today.

In a statement issued here Kirmani questioned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) public meeting scheduled for today in Lahore in NA-120 constituency, saying that under which law Imran Khan was going to attend and address the meeting.

He urged ECP to allow them too to hold public meeting in the constituency.

Kirmani that Nawaz Sharif was the hero of Pakistan who had served the country for over 33 years.

He added that the symbol of Tiger was the symbol of victory. He added that PML-N would turned out victorious in Lahore by-election.

PTI is going to hold a public meting in NA-120 constituency in connection with its candidate election campaign. PTI chief is scheduled to address the meeting.

As per ECP code of conduct, no members of parliament or assembly can participate in elections camping. As Imran Khan is a sitting MNA, so under the code he is barred from participating in the electioneering in any manner.
