PTI Rejects PPP’s Proposed Names For Caretaker PM

Islamabad (May 21, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) rejected the names proposed by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for the post of caretaker premier.

Addressing press conference in Islamabad accompanied by other party leaders PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhary said that party’s top brass had unanimously dismissed the names proposed by Zardari-led PPP for the caretaker prime minister.

“PPP has proposed two names [Zaka Ashraf and Jalil Abbas] for the caretaker premier. We will have to wait and look that whether Abbasi [incumbent premier] accept or reject these names”, stated Chaudhry while adding at the same time that names proposed by PTI were more suitable.While lashing out at ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Chaudhry cited that those lies were as essential for PML-N as oxygen for the living.

He also giving an edge to the names presented by PTI- Ishrat Hussain and Abdul Razzaq- said that both persons have a good track record.

Once again he reiterated stance against Nawaz Sharif and said that Gulf Steel Mills was the main source of income by Sharif family, however, when the court asked regarding Gulf Steel Mill he replied, “I don’t know.”

However, he continued NS should have to answer of the Gulf Steel Mill capital where did it come from?  Earlier, PPP had finalized the names of Zaka Ashraf and Jalil Abbas Jilani for caretaker PM.

Opposition Leader has given these names to PM Abbasi after consultations with both the Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Co-Chairman Asif Zardari.

Reportedly, Asif Zardari phoned both the nominees separately and informed them, expressing hope that no one would have any objections to them for they are experts in economics, banking and administrative affairs.

Zaka Ashraf has previously served as Chairman of PCB while Jalil Abbasi Jilani has served as Pakistan s ambassador to the US.
