PTI Seeks PPP Support for Upcoming Senate Poll

Islamabad (November 08, 2018): The ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) on Thursday sought Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) support for the Senate election.

According to sources, PTI delegation headed by Senate candidate Waleed Iqbal met with PPP’s parliamentary leader in Senate Syed Hassan Murtaza and requested for their support in upcoming Senate polls.

However, Hassan Murtaza attached their support with the high ups of the party and said he will follow what the party would decide.

The meeting held at Hassan Murtaza chamber as the PPP member Punjab assembly Shazia Abid was also present on the occasion.

On the occasion, PTI invited Hassan Murtaza on a dinner.
