PTI Senior Leadership Meeting Postponed Owing To Busy Schedules Of Asad Umar, Qureshi

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has postponed the senior party leaders meeting at his Zaman Park residence today in which changing political situation of the country had to be discussed.

The huddle was postponed owing to senior party leaders Secretary General Asad Umar and vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi busy schedules.

Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi and his son Monis Elahi called on the PTI chief Imran Khan today as well and again ensured the former premier that the provincial assembly will be dissolved immediately on his orders.

On the other hand, the PTI senior leader and vice-president Fawad Chaudhry has said that they are establishing contacts with the government.

The former federal information minister said that President Dr Arif Alvi also tried to convince Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

It is pertinent to mention here that Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Pervez Elahi has not in favor to dissolve the provincial assembly immediately.

In his message to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) cheif Imran Khan, the CM Punjab has said that with the immediate dissolution of the Assembly will further increase problems.

The CM Punjab has said that the most of members have against the immediate dissolution of the assembly and they are not in favor to resign from the assembly.
