Security agencies has suggested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to change its venue for Ist May rally in Lahore amid security fears. The security agencies have suggested to PTI to held their rally at Nasir Bagh or Samanabad.
The district administration has in written informed the PTI to change its rally venue due to fears of terrorist activity, however, the PTI has stick to its venue at Punjab Assembly Faisal Chowk.
The district administration has suggested to PTI to held its rally at Football Ground, Nasir Bagh or Samanabad Dongi Ground. The district administration has argued that the High Court as well imposed ban on holding a rally or procession on Mall Road, so they are not given permission.
The PTI delegation in chair of Mian Aslam Iqbal has also hold dialogue with administration which failed. The dialogue was attendant by Commissioner, DCO, CCPO, DIG operation, SP security and District Intelligence Committee.
The PTI Lahore leadership has refused to accept the administration suggestion. The PTI leader Mian Aslam Iqbal said that Imran Khan had already announced the venue of Faisal Chowk, henceforth, it will not be changed.
Now, another round of dialogue will be held between administration and the PTI leadership .
