Islamabad: (May 9, 2017) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has decided to approach the apex court against Nawaz Sharif for taking funds from Bin Laden in the name of Jihad.
The decision was made in PTI’s high ups crucial meeting held under the chair of party chairman Imrran Khan at Bani Gala.
The party meeting decide to file a petition in Supreme Court seeking immediate implementation on the Asghan Khan case verdict along with another petition against PM Nawaz Sharif for allegedly taking money from Al-Qaeda chief.
“The funds were utilized rather to topple the then PM Benazir Bhutto in 1989,” the PTI claimed.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has also reiterating its demand of holding Joint Investigation Team (JIT) hearing openly as it was nation’s case.
The Communique said that JIT proceeding should be conducted publicly like Panama case in the presence of media.
“Government should surface Dawn leaks report immediately as any attempt to safe real characters behind the issue will be resisted,” it said.
Meeting also severely denounced long load shedding across the country and demanded government should accomplish its promise regarding end of load shedding.
Last week, the PTI announced opening up another legal front against the PM, saying it would file a petition demanding implementation on a 2012 verdict of the apex court in the Asghar Khan case.
