PTI to change date for Islamabad’s shut down to Nov 2

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday decided to change the date of its planned march on Islamabad. Now the PTI will lock down Islamabad on Nov 2 instead of the earlier announced date of October 30.

A meeting of PTI’s core committee was held at Banigala chaired by PTI chief Imran Khan.  Sources said that the PTI top leadership will meet tomorrow to select the venue for the sit-in.

Sources said that the PTI will select Zero Point or Faizabad for the planned sit-in to press Nawaz Sharif to resign and present himself for accountability for his alleged involvement in Panama gate.

PTI chief will address a press conference tomorrow after the consultative meeting of top leadership and announce the new date of the lock down and venue for the sit-in.
