PTI to move court for Khwaja Asif’s disqualification

ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday announced to move to the court for disqualification of Deference Minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif for what it said concealment of assets and dual nationality.

PTI candidate Usman Dar from NA-110, from where Asif has been elected as MNA, on Friday called on Senator Baber Awan in Islamabad. Awan has represented Dar in the election petition against Asif, which was rejected yesterday by Supreme Court.

During the meeting, it was stated that PTI proved in the SC that NA-110 election was of ROs. Dar demanded that action should be taken against those involved in election rigging.

He vowed that he would chase Asif till his disqualification.  He claimed that they had acquired evidences of Asif mis-declaration of assets and concealing of dual nationality.

It was decided in the meeting that new case would be filed next week.
