PTI’s Important Consultative Huddle Meeting Today

Islamabad (August 12, 2018): An important meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to be held today in Banigala under the chair of the party Chairman and PM in waiting, Imran Khan.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jehangir Tareen, Pervez Khattak, Naeemul Haq, Chaudhry Sarwar, Aleem Khan and others will attend the meeting.

Names of CM Punjab, Deputy Speaker National Assembly and provincial assembly will be announced today, said sources.

Sources further said that a woman will be given the post of deputy speaker of National Assembly.

On the other hand, PTI’s Jehangir Tareen will meet PML-Q’s Chaudhry Pervez Illahi today.

Earlier on Saturday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) decided to appoint Imran Ismail as governor Sindh.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan nominated the senior leader of the party Imran Ismail for the post of Sindh Governor.
The decision was made in party consultative meeting presided over by PTI chairman Imran Khan in Banigala.

The MPA-elect will have to give up his Sindh Assembly membership for the prized post.

Earlier, the party had nominated Chaudhry Sarwar as Governor of Punjab and Asad Qaiser as the Speaker National Assembly.

Talking to media, after his approval as governor Sindh, Imran Ismail thanked Imran for his trust on him for such an important post and said he will bring all the stakeholders along to develop the province.” I Will try my best to allocate Imran Khan’s development package for Sindh equally,” he said adding that he will diminish the expenses of governor house.

He vowed that the governor house was once the residence of Quaid-e-Azam and he will make sure to protect this precious asset.

Earlier, the spokesperson Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry revealed that the name for the chief minister Punjab slot will be announced in next 24 hours as all the parliamentary leader of other political parties will also be invited in prime minister’s oath-taking ceremony.

Talking to media after the party’s consultative huddle in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry said that the PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto, PML-N chief Shehbaz Sharif, Khursheed Shah and other parliamentary leaders will be invited in Imran Khan’s as prime minister swear-in ceremony.

“The heads of all parliamentary parties will be invited to the oath-taking ceremony,” Chaudhry told media persons at Bani Gala on Saturday. “Parliament is the most important state institution in a democracy. Our Prime Minister will be answerable to the house,” he said.“We will work with the opposition parties to strengthen the parliament and give serious consideration to their demands,” he said.

Imran Khan leaving other fours NA seats would retain his Mianwali seat, he said.

He said that the PTI government will slash spendings of Prime Minister House, Governor House and Chief Secretary houses.

Chaudhry said that a meeting of Punjab Assembly members has been called on August 14.

“We have already shortlisted three names for the position of Deputy Speaker of National Assembly. A final announcement in this connection will be made by tomorrow morning,” he said.

The PTI spokesman claimed that Imran Khan would bag more than 180 votes in the election of Prime Minister.
