LAHORE: The internal differences of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) once again cropped up on Tuesday, as senior PTI leader Hamid Khan took a dig at Aleem Khan, saying that his daydreaming of getting NA-125 ticket will be short-lived.
He said that even the party chief had not the sole authority to distribute party tickets for next election elections.
Talking to media at Supreme Court, Hamid Khan said that neither elections were going to be held anytime soon nor the parliamentary board had met.
He said that party’s parliamentary board had the authority to give tickets for elections. He added that he was himself part of the parliamentary board.
Khan said that those talking about getting party ticket were violating party’s constitution.
He also criticized Aleem Khan for claiming to have got party’s ticket of NA-125 for next elections.
To a question he said that he decided to quit PTI legal team in Panamagate after the media’s negative campaign.
