Lahore (June 26, 2017): Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafiq has said that the people burn rate in Ahmedpur incident was 80 percent, while military and Rescue teams timely shifted the injured to hospitals, adding that PTI’s politicizing on dead bodies is highly regrettable.
Addressing a presser along with Punjab Health Secretary, Khawaja Salman Rafiq said that no staff, doctor or nurse celebrated their Eid after the Ahmedpur tragedy, adding that PTI leaders delivered non serious statements. He questioned whether PTI built single Health Center in KPK, while the amount allocated by Chaudhary Brothers in APD was not enough to complete any project after several years.
Khawaja Salman Rafiq said that the credit goes to Punjab government for building Burns Unit in Multan, Faisalabad and Rahim Yar Khan followed by Lahore.
