Islamabad (February 08, 2018): Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) accepted bail of six Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders today. The court has reserved the verdict earlier today.
According to the details, anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday has extended interim bails of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders in Parliament and Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) attack cases.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Shireen Mazari, Asad Umar and Shafqat Mahmood along with others appeared in the court during which, the lawyers and prosecutor presented their arguments.
Police officers alleged Shireen Mazari of her involvement in attack on government buildings. The prosecutor said that PTI leaders brought armed people with them, therefore, they are responsible for the killings of innocent people in the sit-in.
“Shireen Mazari does not want a bail as she will not be nominee in this case,” the court remarked After hearing, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that all nominated leaders of the party appeared before ATC. “Unfortunately we were targeted through a political case,” he said.
Meanwhile, PTI lawyer said that cases were filed against peaceful protesters and that the nominated accused are member of National Assembly.
Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing.On Aug 31, 2014, anti-government protestors from PTI and PAT clashed with police while marching towards the Parliament and Prime Minister House.
The clash resulted in the deaths of three participants of the sit-ins. Hundreds, including demonstrators and police officials, were wounded.
The transmission of PTV News and PTV World was cut off for almost half an hour before the Pakistan Army cleared the building.
