Peshawar (November 29, 2017): Students of Peshawar University protesting against the fee hike by the university administration have announced to stage sit-in outside the office of Vice Chancellor of the University for acceptance of their demands.
As per details, students of the university are protesting against fee hike by the administration on second consecutive day today. They boycotted their classes and staged a demonstration outside the administration block of Peshawar University.
Later the protesting students announced to stage sit-in outside the VC office till acceptance of their demands.
The students are demanding the university to take back the increase in tuition fee.
Moreover, they also demanded that scholarship should be provided to the deserving students, government should announce an endowment fund and PhD students should be provided with research grant.
The students also remarked that they are not being provided with many important facilities.
They also demanded to be provided with important facilities including hostels for day scholars, along with transport facilities for students living in hostels.
