LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced a stimulate relief package for the labourers and persons who depend on daily wages to mitigate financial crunch occurred after the lockdown enforced to curb coronavirus spread.
The decision was taken in a high-level meeting held with the chair of the chief minister Punjab Usman Buzdar and the recommendations and suggestions have come under discussion,
Taking on the occasion, CM Punjab said that deserving labourers will be given financial package through easy paisa and for the purpose committee will be formed under the supervision of district deputy commissioners, however, people representatives and other segments of the society will also include in the committees.
“The government employees who embraced martyrdom during the job in the war against corona will be given special package aiming to not let leave them alone in such a difficult time,” he said adding that PTI government will care vulnerable segment of the society at any cost.
