LAHORE: Punjab Assembly upon the completion of its first year has completed as much as 11 sessions, AbbTakk News reported on Tuesday.
As per details, in the parliamentary year of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led provincial government it has completed 11 sessions lasting on 101 days and approved sixteen laws.
On the other hand, 290 resolutions were submitted in the house out of which just 35 were approved.
However, 705 adjournment motions were also submitted in the house out of which 267 became the part of assembly’s agenda.
The Punjab assembly in its first year also received as much as 2694 out of which 420 were answered.
