LAHORE: Provincial government of Punjab has decided to withdraw the proposed tax on the inter-city air-condition buses.
The provincial cabinet meeting was held in chair of Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar wherein the cabinet approved the withdrawal of the proposed tax on the intercity air-conditions buses unanimously.
The meeting also approved a reconciliatory memorandum regarding joint financial responsibilities of the federation and provincial government.
The huddle also approved the appointment of Capt (retd) Arif Nawaz as Inspector General (IG) Police Punjab.
Addressing the cabinet meet-up the Chief Minister thanked the cabinet members in extending cooperation to him in the time of financial difficulties adding that the cabinet worked day and night and its results start appearing.
He further added that Punjab cabinet budget will bring development and prosperity in the province and withdrawal of proposed taxes on the intercity air-condition buses will benefit masses.
