Lahore(April 03, 2018): PFA has released it’s initial three months report.
Punjab Food Authority checked 1,26365 (one lac, twenty-six thousand and sixty-five) locations, sealed 10417 (One thousand, four hundred and seventy-one due to low-quality food while 82,122 points have been issued a notice of betterment.
According to the report, PFA has collected 2,0812 (two thousand, eight hundred and twelve) samples.
Cases against 53 owners on health injurous mixing and fifteen have been sent to jail while 4,474 points have been fined.
DG PFA Noor ul Amin told in his press conference that we are working to stop infant formula from being sold or to restrict it for sale only on Dr.’s prescription.
