LAHORE: The Punjab government on Thursday issued notification of Aab-e-Pak Authority Bill 2019 which was passed by Punjab Assembly amid opposition’s protest on March 14.
According to a notification, Governor Punjab Ch Mohammad Sarwar will be patron-in-chief of authority.
As per details, Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority will provide clean drinking water to 110 Million people of Punjab. Authority will install water filtration plants across Punjab and water filtration plants will also be installed in Jails, hospitals, and universities.
