LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Wednesday announced to keep him separate from activities pertaining to the Sarwar Foundation.
Addressing to press conference, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar said that he belongs to a middle-class family and earned his livelihood by doing business in the UK. He decided to enter politics later on.
He said that once he had a chance that he should opt to become filthy rich or enter in the politics to serve the people. I then decided to enter the House of Lords to serve the Pakistanis there in England.
Governor Punjab also said that he had worked to improve education, health and other sectors while residing abroad.
Chaudhry Sarwar also told the media that he was forced to take a leadership role in the party but he was merely satisfied with his role as being a senator.
Sarwar also revealed that some of his proposed decisions weren’t taken seriously if those decisions would’ve been taken seriously PTI would have clinched a majority in Punjab as well.
Chaudhry Sarwar also announced to part his ways from the chairmanship of Sarwar Foundation after he was criticized for raising funds as a Governor.
He also announced that whatever the donations the Sarwar Foundation will gather in future will be deposited to the national exchequer for Aab-e-Pak authority.
