LAHORE: Punjab’s home department on Saturday accepted Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s request to let him meet with the detained former premier at Kot Lakhpat Jail here on Saturday.
According to sources, the PPP chairman will visit the Kot Lakhpat Jail today at 5 pm where he will inquire about the health of former premier Nawaz Sharif.

A letter has been written to the Punjab government’s home department seeking permission to see Nawaz in Jail to inquire about his health.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PPP chairman is in Lahore and his meeting solely depends upon the permission of Punjab’s home department. A day earlier, the chairman PPP has also expressed his concerns over Nawaz’s health on his twitter handle.
The PPP chairman will be accompanied by Qamar Zaman Kaira, Mustafa Nawaz Khokar and Jameel Soomro if the permission is granted.
The letter states that the PPP chairman wants to see Nawaz Sharif today.
