LAHORE: Punjab government on Monday approved Chief Minister Punjab Insaf Aid Package.
Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar presided a meeting to review in detail the coronavirus pandemic latest situation, protective measures, initiatives taken for the safety of the people.
Political and military leadership in the huddle decided strictly implementation of the government
measures taken for curbing the global epidemic.
Chief Minister Punjab announced one month additional salary to the doctors and paramedical staff working in the hospitals of the province.
The CM also announced a privillage package for the families of doctors and the paramedical staff who lost their lives in fight against the global pandemic under the martyrs package.
Talking at the occasion, the CM Punjab said that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tracing the people having close contact and relationship with the coronavirus patients have been chalked out while new laborataries are being established.
The meeting approving the CM Insaf Aid Package also directed to launch the package soon.
Under the first phase of the Package 2.5 million households will be given Rs 4000 and in the
next phase they will be paid again the same amount.
