Lahore: The people of Punjab are admitting that the provincial government is working against the global pandemic coronavirus on a war footing and taking necessary measures while the establishment of a 1000-bed hospital within a record time of nine days is being declared the biggest achievement of the Punjab government.
The provincial government is taking every action that is effective against the epidemic coronavirus in its single point agenda of containing the virus at all cost.
Usman Buzdar led government established the 1000-bed hospital at the Expo Center Lahore within a record time of nine days on an emergency basis.
Buzdar government has a determination that if any patient needs a ventilator then he or she will be transferred to the Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
In the same way the biggest quarantine center was established at the Meo Hospital in Lahore which is accommodating the largest number of patients.
Anyone can witness special arrangements for coronavirus patients at the teaching hospitals of the fort city.
Talking about the government measures against the coronavirus Information Minister Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan said that we are working on a war footing while the provision of facilities to people are being ensured in the partial lock-down.
As per the minister, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar taking measures on daily basis keeping in mind the changing situation.
He said that committees have been established on districts level over not provision of protective kits to doctors, nurses and paramedical staff.
Fayyaz said that the Buzdar government has all its efforts aimed not only controlling the virus but also to stop its spread.
