LAHORE: The Punjab government on Friday decided to carry out an audit of Lahore Waste Management Company started under the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab government.
The announcement was made by a parliamentary secretary of local government Ahmed Khan during the Punjab Assembly session.
Ahmed Khan assured members that he will submit a report in the Punjab Assembly after the completion of the audit.
Earlier on Thursday, The National Accountability Bureau summoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shehbaz Sharif to investigate him on the Lahore waste management case on May 13.
