LAHORE: The Punjab government on Thursday has prepared lists of Tableeghi Jamaat congregations participants in the province, other provinces and abroad.
According to details, the decision was taken in a high-level meeting co-chaired by the Punjab law minister Raja Basharat and chief secretary Punjab major retired Azam Suleman Khan and attended by IG Punjab Shoaib Dastgir, commissioner Lahore division Saif Anjum and other concerned officials.
The meeting has reviewed the coronavirus situation, administrative affairs and decided to prepare lists of the groups of Tableeghi Jamaat across the country and in abroad.
Meeting has also decided to make OPDs complete functional along with coronavirus patents.
Meeting told that the screening process of Tableeghi Jamaat members has been completed while IG Punjab directed officials to screen all the police personnel, wardens and other staff who have been performing duty in connection with coronavirus.
