London (July 07, 2018): Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri declared the Avenfield reference verdict first drop of water and added that the plunderers and the cruel will soon face a hailstorm.
While talking to journalists at Heathrow Airport, Dr Tahirul Qadri congratulated Joint Investigation Team (JIT), NAB Prosecutor and accountability court on the Avenfield reference verdict against the former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and his family.

Reacting to the Avenfield reference verdict, Tahirul Qadri said that the punishment is too little for the crime, however, he was happy that the process of the powerful elite being punished in Pakistan has started.
He said that Sharif family could not escape from justice and added that God will provide justice to the victims of the Model Town incident.
At least 14 people were killed and 100 others injured in police action against PAT workers in Lahore’s Model Town area during an ‘anti-encroachment operation’ on June 17, 2014.
Celebrations were called at the party’s secretariat after the court announced verdict against Sharif family. Sweets were also distributed at the secretariat.
