Lahore (June 16, 2017): Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Doctor Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri termed the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), being formed to probe the money trail of the assets owned by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family, a scripted drama of Panama investigations.
While addressing to an Iftar dinner in Lahore, Tahir-ul-Qadri urged all political forces to unite against cruelty and evil designs. He said it is state’s core responsibility to protect masses and their assets. Qadri said it is their part of conscience and belief to follow the case of Model Town Massacre.
Whereas Awami Muslim League chairman Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad sees political verdict in Panama Case and capital punishment in Model Town Massacre case. He said another JIT will be formed to probe Model Town incident.
Pakistan Peoples Party leader Manzoor Wattoo, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Chaudhry Sarvar, Liaqat Baloch of Jamaat-e-Islami and others were present in the Iftar Party.
