ISLAMABAD: Emir Qatar has offered financial and technical assistance to upgrade the five major airports of the country on modern lines.
Emir Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani presented the valuable offer in his recent visit of the country while Prime Minister Imran Khan has called meeting aviation related meeting tomorrow.
According to the government sources, Qatar will assist to turn the existing state of the airports turn into new architecture design and equipped with modern technology.
Sources said that the Emir Qatar has said that to outsource the airport services while the Emier Qatar said that if Pakistan wishes the present airports could be turned into like of airports in Qatar.
The meeting under the chair of PM will also attend by the Federal Minister for aviation and other officers of the aviation wherein a final decision will be taken to outsource the airport services.
