LAHORE: Opposition Leader in Senate and senior Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Senator Aitzaz Ahsan on Saturday said that Qatri, Irani and UAE’s letters would lead to financial anarchy in the country.
Talking to media after casting his vote in Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) elections, Aitzaz said that the Prime Minister had admitted Sharif family’s ownership of London flats.
He said that the Supreme Court would decide the Panama case. Aitzaz opined that the court should have summoned the Prime Minister and questioned him over the flats.
He said that the court seemed helpless before NAB. The court observation that “NAB died before us” was unfortunate. He commented that the court should have infuse life in the dead NAB.
The PPP leader said that if PSL final did not held in Lahore it would be failure of the government.
On the occasion, he hailed the security measures for the Bar elections, saying that best security measures were taken and even he was only allowed to enter the court premise after showing his original CNIC and membership card of the Bar.
