Quetta (June 23, 2017): Director Civil Defense Aslam Tareen on Friday said that as per initial report of Quetta blast, it was suicidal and was carried out by a suicide attacker .
Tareen said that Civil Defence had prepared initial report about the intensity and nature of the blast.

As per the report, the blast was suicide attack.
He said that some 75kg explosives were used in the blast.
He further informed that ball bearings and nuts and bolts were also used
It is to be mentioned here that at least 11 people were killed and 12 other injured when a car bomb blast hit near IG Office at Shuhada Chowk in Quetta.
The bomb went off at Shuhada Chowk in front of IG Office on Gulistan Road in the provincial metropolis.
The blast was so powerful the bang was heard far from the blast site. The blast damaged nearby buildings. Two vehicle were also damaged in the blast.
A doctor at Emergency Department of Civil Hospital Quetta Rozina told Abb Takk that several injured were brought to Civil Hospital, where they were being given treatment.
She said that condition of many of the injured was critical. She apprehended that the death toll of the blast many go up.
