Quetta (July 4, 2017) : The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced to conduct by-election in the NA-260 constituency on July 15.
The seat fell vacant after the death of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party’s senior deputy chairman Abdul Rahim Mandokhel last month.
District, returning officers and presiding officers will be given powers of first class magistrate on the polling’s day. The officers would be able to exercise these powers to punish on the spot anyone found interfering with the electoral process.
