ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday apprised his German counterpart on current law and order situation in the region and intermittent aggressive stances taken by India after Pulwama attack.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi held a meeting with German foreign minister Heiko Maas in Islamabad where both ministers exchanged thoughts on prevailing bilateral ties between both countries.
In the meeting, both foreign ministers discussed the stability of peace and tranquillity in Afghanistan.
“We measure Pakistan’s role in peace talks in Afghanistan very highly”, German foreign minister Heiko said.
Foreign minister Shah Mehmood took Heiko Maas in confidence regarding Pakistan’s ‘peace-seeking’ nature.
When briefed about Indo-Pak tensions, German foreign minister stressed both nations to sort their ways out through dialogue.
