RAHIM YAR KHAN: Repairing work of the Gas pipeline is underway in Rahim Yar Khan. Due to this, gas supplication has been gravely affected in different cities of Punjab for the last 24 hours.
According to the Spokesman Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), the repairing of the wrecked pipeline in Rahim Yar Khan is afoot which will come to end before sunset.
Pipes ranging up to 30 to 40 metres are being fixed in the affected area.
As per the District Police Officer (DPO) Rahim Yar Khan Umar Salamat, no signs of devastations are observed in the incident.
It is pertinent to mention that a gas pipeline burst in RY Khan yesterday due to immense gas-pressure. People of Multan, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Sargodha had to suffer as the gas supply was halted after the pipeline burst.
