Lahore (May 25, 2018) The Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has claimed that the revenue of Pakistan Railways has jumped to rupees 50 billion in last five years due to the cooperation of railways employees.
Addressing press conference at railways headquarters, Lahore, Railways minister said that the posting and transfers during his tenure were made on merit and there was no ghost employees in Railways and everyone being paid their arrears on time.

“The major issues of payment of salaries and corruption have been overcome due to PM relief package of Rs 10 billion and 740 million,” he mentioned.
He also said that online ticketing was a dream that has come true. He also mentioned that there were labour unions in railways representing each political party and all were working jointly for the betterment of the railway.
He expressed full confidence of present railway management and said he believed current administration will maintain the direction set by him.
