QUETTA: At least six people have been died and 150 houses collapsed due to rains within three days in Balochistan.
A three-day downpour created havoc in Balochistan. 10 people were also injured in rain related incident in the province.
According to the details, above 40 houses collapsed in Khaliqabad, area of Kalat division, 60 houses in Killa Abdullah, Chaman and Gulistan. While over a dozen houses were collapsed in Nushki.
The floodwater swept away three vehicles and a tractor on second day of rains in Chaman but fortunately all the people in the vehicles were recovered rescue in the rescue operation. 35 sheep were killed as roof of the house collapsed in Sariab.
Pakistan Meteorological Department issued high alert in the province. While Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Balochistan is providing food, medicines, blankets and tents in the rain-affected areas in the province.
