Islamabad (July 13, 2017): Me Office has forecast monsoon rains in the different areas of the country during next 24 hours.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents are penetrating upper and central parts of the country which will continue for next two days.
It said that rain coupled with thunder storm is expected at scattered places in D.G.Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Sahiwal divisions, Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Sibbi, Nasirabad divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan in the next twenty-four hours. Light rain/drizzle is expected at a few places along the Sindh coast.
Rain accompanied by thunderstorm lashed a number of places in Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Lahore divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Sargodha, Quetta, Zhob, Karachi divisions & Gilgit-Baltistan in the last 24 hours.
The highest temperature was recorded in Dalbandin at 45°C followed by Dadu, Nokkundi 43°C, Shaheed Benazirabad and Sibbi at 42°C.
