Karachi (July 27, 2017): Thunder showers are expected in many areas upcountry during the next 12 hours.
The Rains are expected to lash Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Hazara divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir while at isolated places in Peshawar, Kohat, Malakand, Lahore, Sargodha, Mirpurkhas divisions, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 12 hours.
Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country during the same period.
According to Meteorological Department monsoon currents are penetrating upper and central parts of country. A westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next few days.
The following is the temperature recorded in major cities this morning: 26 degree centigrade in Islamabad, 29 degree in Lahore and Karachi twenty, 27 degree in Peshawar, 24 degree in Quetta, 19 degree in Gilgit, 17 degree in Murree, and 23 degree centigrade in Muzaffarabad.
