LAHORE: The judicial remand of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah, who is in jail over the allegations of drug smuggling, has been extended for nine days as the court has issued notices to Anti-narcotics Force (ANF).
The accused Rana Sanaullah has been produced before the anti-narcotics courts’ judge Khalid Bashir after the end of seven-day judicial remand.
The lawyer of the accused told the court that CCTV footage has clearly exposed all story made by ANF false and proved their stance true.
However, ANF prosecutor has the stance that all record should be presented before the court and accused should be indicted.
After hearing the arguments by both the parties, the court has extended accused judicial remand till October 18 and issued the notices to the relevant parties.
Talking to media after the hearing, Rana said CCTV footage has clarified the truth and government only taking the political revenge.
