Lahore (June 19, 2017): Rangers conducted operation in Kharian and Saraye Aalamgir. Arrested 20 suspects and recovered arms, ammunition and suicide vests from the possession of the accused.
As per details, Punjab Rangers along with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Police and intelligence agencies conducted search operation and apprehended twenty suspects in Kharia’n and Saraye Aalamgir areas of Punjab Province.

The paramilitary force recovered huge cache of arms, bullet proof jackets and bullets from the possessions of the arrested suspects.
The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for investigation.
In another operation conducted by Rangers and Police in Manawan area of Lahore, five suspects were arrested.
During the operation, the law enforcement agencies verified the particulars of residents through bio-metric device.
Police said that during the operation, a 30 bore pistol was also recovered from a man.
Earlier on Saturday, Sindh personnel arrested four most wanted men suspected of planning an attack on Youm-e-Ali (R.A) procession in Karachi.
The raid was conducted on a tip off from intelligence agencies in Orangi Town area.
Rangers spokesperson said the suspects belong to banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi group. A suicide jacket, 15 kilograms of explosives, eighteen hand grenades and other weapons were recovered from their possession.
